Beauty picks!

Via: People.com

Every few months People.com does a post about their favorite beauty products and I always pick a few of them, purchase them and end up loving them! Here are a few of my favorites, you can check out more on their website.

Burberry “Body Eau de Parfum“, $55,sephora.com

What does the feeling of wearing Burberrry’s iconic trench coat smell like? According to the Brit brand, it’s a sophisticated and feminine blend of peach, rose, iris and woody notes. The result is a classic – just like its trench! – that can be worn day or night.

Almay “Oil-Free Makeup Eraser Sticks”, $5.50 any drugstore

Whether you have a case of migrating mascara, a smoky-eye misadventure or a regrettable shadow decision, these makeup-remover-soaked swabs will erase all evidence of your makeup mishaps without requiring a complete redo. Plus, the gentle, oil-free formula hydrates and soothes the delicate skin around the eyes.

Maybelline New York “Limited Edition Designer Great Lash Mascara”, $5.49  target.com

Maybelline is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Great Lash Mascara and its sponsorship of New York City Fashion Week in style. It asked designers Vivienne Tam, Tracy Reese and Max Azria of BCBG to put their spin on the unmistakable pink and green tube, and the results are so cool, you’ll want them all.

Ojon “Damage Reverse Instant Restorative Hair Serum”, $25, sephora.com

Summer may have been a blast, but it was no vacation for your hair. Between the chlorine, salt water and sun overexposure, strands take a beating – but they can be revived with a few drops of this reparative hair oil. Packed with Amazon nut and fruit extracts, it should revive your mane to its pre-season glory in no time.

Neutrogena “Microdermabrasion System”, $17,neutrogena.com

Microdermabrasion works wonders for promoting radiance and minimizing imperfections, but getting it done at a derm’s office is pricey. Now you can pick up the DIY version at a drugstore near you with Neutrogena’s at-home system. It employs puffs embedded with tiny crystals and micro-vibrations to gently smooth skin.

Peter Thomas Roth “Anti-Aging Instant Mineral SPF 45”, $32, peterthomasroth.com

Who doesn’t love one beauty product that can do the work of three? Peter Thomas Roth’s new powder works as a mattifying loose powder but it also fights fine lines with peptides and protects skin from the sun with SPF 45. Plus, it comes in a compact package, so it’s perfect for on-the-go touch-ups.

Burt’s Bees “Sensitive Night Cream”, $15,burtsbees.com

Is your skin easily irritated, prone to redness and intolerant of most creams and lotions? Calm your complexion with this ultra-hydrating night cream, packed with soothing cotton extract and aloe.

Carol’s Daughter Macadamia Hold and Control Smoother, $22, carolsdaughter.com

If your summertime frizz-fest has become intolerable, this new smoother might just be your strand savior. The gel-pomade-wax hybrid helps tame even the most out-of-control manes with macadamia oil and honey extract.

Olay Professional Pro-X Clear Acne Protocol, $45, pgestore.com

Summer can wreak havoc on acne-prone skin, so it’s lucky that Olay has recently introduced a new three-step blemish-banishing regimen. The cleanser, treatment and lotion fights and treats acne by reducing oil, unclogging pores and reducing redness.

Clinique “Age Defense BB Cream SPF 30”, $37,sephora.com

Already big in Asia, blemish balms are making a splash in the USA as well. Clinique’s version does it all, providing UV protection, calming irritation, hydrating, absorbing excess oil and fighting free radicals.

Sonia Kashuk Gold Mine Brush Set, $25,target.com

Sonia Kashuk’s brushes aren’t just among the best in the business – they also happen to be the best priced, coming in at just $25 for a truly pro-quality seven-piece set.
