Actor/producer Mark Wahlberg is taking another shot a selling his large mansion in Beverly Hills, listing it for $13.95 million. The home was last on the market in 2008 when it was listed for $15.9 million. According to The Wall Street Journal, Wahlberg is building a 33,000-square-foot mansion for his family in nearby Beverly Park.
Wahlberg’s home sits on over 1.7 acres. The grounds include not just the large main house but also a two-story, two-bedroom guest house; a 2,500-square-foot gym with a boxing ring; basketball court in Boston Celtics green; putting green and a pool with a waterfall and grotto. Wahlberg picked up the house in late 2001 for $4.95 million.
The home features a large master suite with separate his/her baths and four additional bedroom suites in the main house. There is a chef-worthy kitchen and formal dining and living rooms with canyon views and a 35mm digital projection theater/screening room perfect for screening Wahlberg’s star turn in “The Fighter.”
